About Me
Hi! My name is Hope Dehner and I am currently a senior at The University of Cincinnati. I am majoring in Psychology. I am so very excited do this chapter of my life at UC!
I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio with my two younger siblings. My sister, Joy, is 19 and my brother, Josiah, is 15. Growing up with two younger siblings (and a dog!) really helped to shape me into who I am today. I think I would be a completely different person if I was an only child. I am so much more patient because of Joy and Josiah. I graduated from Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy in 2013. When I graduated I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. I wasn't sure I even wanted to go to college, so I decided to take a gap year. So during the rest of 2013 and the first half of 2014 I worked full time at Chick-fil-A. That year really helped me realize what I wanted to do with my future; to follow my heart and do what I find to be interesting. In November 2017, I left my job at Chick-fil-A and began a new job at Outback Steakhouse! To me psychology is just about the most fascinating thing I have ever come across in my entire life. I am beyond excited for all of my classes and all the opportunities UC and the University Honors Program are offering me. Places I've been: China (Beijing, Hangzhou, and Shanghai) Mexico (Chichen Itza, Merida, and Cancún) England (London) France (Paris and Normandy) Australia (Melbourne) Italy (Naples and Rome) |
